I climbed in my dreams Comment: This haiku is a good example of a “new year” haiku, the fifth season recognized in Japan. These words in line one “first dawn” are considered a “kigo” which is a word or phrase associated with a particular season, used in traditional forms of Japanese haiku. A New Year haiku can sometimes be difficult to write well, but Eduard has mastered it here. Nice work Eduard!
