Mr. Hasegawa selected Comment

A haiku begins with an idea and is completed through the process of polishing. This is a concept that has been cultivated in the world of Japanese haiku, but it applies to any human poetry, no matter what language it is written in or what form they take. The rainbow itself has a curve. The idea that the rainbow curves the sky is an original and impressive viewpoint. Furthermore, this haiku is composed using minimal words. It must have been the result of much scrimping and polishing….
